Narooma Oyster Festival – 2022
Oysters were too delicious to be celebrated in only one part of the world. So the entire world celebrates its love for oysters on different days throughout the year. This flavorful fresh meat trapped inside a pair of shells sprinkles happiness to everyone who loves them but oyster festivals create extra joy with the fun activities and contests. Narooma Oyster Festival is not different from that aspect of an oyster festival but it is renowned in the world for its grandeur. This multiple award-winning Oyster Festival is a celebration of South Coast NSW oysters along with the region’s natural clean quality produce, chefs, and rich artistic, cultural talents.
The Narooma Oyster Festival is an event with something for each and every participant from devoted foodies to families who seek weekend fun. It is a perfect combination of cosmopolitan food of top quality with endless family fun. You can watch the competitive shucking contest and try out a range of oysters from almost all of the local estuaries.
There will be all types of fine foods from the region to taste while absorbing scenic views at the fabulous location of the Narooma Oyster Festival at Wagonga Inlet, Forster’s Bay. If you need more reasons to visit Narooma Oyster Festival next year, this event has live music, regional wines, craft beer, and cider to keep your company while the kids play all day.
