The goal of the Arcata Bay Oyster Festival is to spotlight local businesses, aquaculture, craft breweries and wineries, food and music. Partnerships with area businesses and community members are paramount to ensure the success of the annual Oyster Festival event. Arcata Main Street Oyster Fest guests are a diverse crowd (over 13,000 of them!), giving you the opportunity to reach your marketing and community outreach goals while supporting an extraordinary Humboldt County tradition.
Proceeds from Oyster Fest are designated to fund community events in and around the Plaza that enhance and promote Arcata’s identity, economy and cultural spirit. Examples, in addition to Oyster Fest, include Arts! Arcata, the Season of Wonder and Light, Halloween Trick-or-Treating around the Plaza, and advocating year-round for a healthy social and business environment for all to enjoy and benefit from.
In exchange, Arcata Main Street offers several incentives depending on the level of sponsorship you choose, such as (but not limited to):
- your logo on T-Shirts
- your logo on the poster
- print and radio presence
- VIP privileges at the festival (VIP Lounge with food and drink, plus designated parking)
- representation on our website
- signage and banners at the festival
- festival announcements
- and more!
