VOLUNTEER for OYSTER FEST!
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Arcata Main Street’s Oyster Fest 2015. Our event would not be possible without all the support from our volunteers, so thank you in advance – we couldn’t do it without you!
Volunteer opportunities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Set-up
- tear-down
- clean-up
- token and wristband sales
- ID checking
- line calling
- security assistance
- beer pouring/serving/token taking
- contest assistance (coordinator, food runners & servers)
- judges
- merchandise booth
- special volunteer area
- VIP area
- parking lot attendance
- logistical support the day of
- logistical support and planning prior
- waste management & recycling
- marketing
Volunteers serving 4 or more hours get:
- a free t-shirt
- wrist band
- beer token (if over 21)
Volunteers serving 6 or more hours also get:
- a ticket to the special volunteer area with food and drink (possibly in the Jambalya this year).
