  • A NEGOTIABLE UTOPIA: The Humboldt Bay Project - Arcata Main Street and our friends at Coast Seafoods invite you to kick off Oyster Fest season with the opening of a MULTIMEDIA ART SHOW by Cynthia Hooper, photos by Aldaron Laird, oysters on the half shell by 5 local oyster growers, finger food and a no-host bar. • OYSTER FEST GIFT SHOP - New and expanded merchandise, available before, during, and after the festival - online and in town.
  • WINE and OYSTERS! We’ll have two separate wine booths this year, representing a wide range of Humboldt County Wine. Tasting opportunities will also be available.
  • FASTER FOOD LINES - Means more oysters!
  • TRANSPORTATION & SHUTTLES - Don’t drive to the Plaza! We’ll have more SHUTTLES per hour coming from Arcata High and HSU, with drop-offs on 10th St., just a block from the Plaza. Live in Arcata? Catch an Arcata/Mad River Bus. Ride to Arcata on the Redwood Transit System (101 Corridor), show your receipt at Oyster Fest, and get at least a partial refund. You won’t have to worry about parking, finding your car at the end of the day, or risk being pulled over if you’ve sampled a few beers. Take the FESTY BUS from anywhere between Trinidad, Willow Creek and Garberville!
